I have compared plist files and settings with games that work on my phone and I'm unable to find the problem. But none of them open past the title screen. (They are all versions that should run on 3.0+) I have "cracked" them with whited00r (although it says they weren't encrypted) and installed them with iTools. I believe I have found 3 versions of Tiny Tower (1.5, 1.5.1 and 2.0.1) but I am unable to get any to open. Apps that were playable in a previous version but can no longer be downloaded from the app store.

I have learned a great deal, however, I'm still finding it difficult to wade through the cracking of apps, mostly because I'm not interested in obtaining apps for free or hacking them to get further in the game, I just want to be able to use free apps, on an older (3g) iphone. The ones I tested so far on my iPhone 3G running whited00r 6 that works fine (will update if I try others): I use the free and ad free iTools but other similar iPhone explorers works too like iFunBox. There is a neat trick in Time Machine > Settings > you can turn off Automatic Delete and it will keep a copy of the app(s) you downloaded in /var/mobile/Downloads so you can copy or transfer to your computer and later copy it back to the same folder to reinstall them with Time Machine > Downloads tab and tapping on it.
